W.O. #7 – Deciding on Dawn desiree, July 29, 2019August 29, 2019 Okay, life is good but full. I feel like I am a stiff skeleton too bothered to build muscles and flesh. Very blunt, very matter of the fact. Just get it done. Your only excuse is death. The end. Don’t feel sorry; it’s actually a funny and weird growing season. Writing opportunity #7 has us (really just me–insert crazy lady laughter here) use alliteration with the first letter of our names to compose a 50-word description for ourselves. Here’s mine (the title of this one is my current mood): “Deciding on Dawn” Deliriously determinedDays in the depths of definitionDiscourse of dissolution to displayDot–dot–dash Daisies drowning in dewThe love-hate of the detailsDaring to dig deeperDot–dot–dash Diligent and distant as a drive thruDazzle or dreamGet done or dismissDot–dot–dash . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TA-DAA! And, now time for a nap! Well, not really. That doesn’t happen unless I’m physically ill or dangerously tired. Instead it will be a dialogue with God in a hammock, reading chair, or with lists at the kitchen table staring at the knots in the wood. Just need to mull stuff (writing stuff) over. Until next time … (hopefully with less mulling and more actual writing) … Share this:FacebookPinterestTwitterPocket Related writing opportunity alliterationcreative writingpoemwritingwriting exercisewriting opportunity
